MEET TL CHISHOLM

Minister TL Chisholm, purposefully named with the initials of Tender Love and Care by her parents Bishop James and Pastor Vernetta Chisholm, is a youth pastor, worship leader, songwriter, radio personality, fashion designer, entrepreneur, and mentor that is widely impacting her community with an inspiring message of hope. Her mobilizing and magnetic ministry techniques portrays the diversity of her gifts and talents that are now being displayed on various media outlets across the internet. One of only 67 African American Women in America to graduate with a degree in Physics in 2009, Minister TL spent the beginning of her professional career as a Nuclear Engineer for the Department of Defense before resigning in 2014 to pursue full-time ministry as a pastor, recording artist and Christian entrepreneur. She attributes her extensive background in science, math, and technology as the STEM of her faith for it was in her intriguing love for the study of the galaxies that she fell passionately for its Author and Creator Jesus Christ. So it’s by nothing less than a divine spark, that this rising star, who spent her undergraduate years studying electromagnetic waves is now approaching a career where she will be spreading the gospel through the same wavelengths as a new weekday radio show host.

Complimenting her 6ft stature, this faith giant is the CEO and Mobilizer of TL Chisholm Ministries Inc. where she has established the Covenant Girl Connection, a spiritual outlet for women to remain connected and empowered to The Source, and RagzIIRighteous Christian Apparel Line. Most recently she has founded a mentorship program, The Crowded Academy, to foster the needs of adolescent girls in urban communities and aid in their formation and development as Christian leaders of the next generation. Her many philanthropic pursuits have most recently awarded her as the youngest honoree of Woman Empowered of Portsmouth for her service to the community and a 2016 Virginia ACHI nominee for Woman of Inspiration and Songstress of the Year.

TL Chisholm, the Messenger, the Mobilizer, and the Mentor, is currently in her last year of seminary at Regent University where she is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Practical Theology with a concertation in marketplace ministry. She is now in the first phases of writing her sophomore album accompanied with her first book, The DIVA Declaration, all while designing a Christian Mentorship Curriculum for women she has entitled LeaderSHE to Empower HER.
